Are you sure it's not grey mold? That's what I was wondering earlier in your post but I didn't want to be obnoxious. :0)
I have grey mold and it looks A LOT like the online pics of late blight.
In fact right now I'm online trying to figure out if i now have late blight *in addition* to grey mold. It's making me nutty.
