Maybe prices were higher earlier in the season, but I wasn't around.

I'm curious what farmer's market prices are in DC and Northern VA. Anyone know?
I shop at two farmers' markets in my area of Northern VA, and the prices for heirloom tomatoes have ranged between $2.50 and $4 for most of the season (mostly around $3 or 3.50), but two weeks ago was down around $2.00/lb (admittedly with limited selection due to drought, deluge, and stink bugs).
