If you could put it on something like clean plastic windowscreen (elevated) it would speed up the process. Sticking might be as problem on a flat solid surface considering how badly garlic sticks to my knives.


Winter air drying is pretty effective. I used it several times for quartered habanero peppers before I got my dehydrator. It only took a few days for the pepper pieces to become crispy dry.
