Hi Goldie, I water as normal at first and I noticed the plants required less as they matured. Once the roots reached the aerator the tomato plant began to grow taller and stronger...and I couldn't believe how many tomato's I harvested! It was great, canning almost complete for my winter storage. Still traveling for work...but should be home soon to send pictures.
