So during the Spring/Summer even though I have a shad cloth, its about 120 degrees in the greenhouse, and I am growing outside in containers.

I have been thinking about experimenting with putting a box of foil-faced styrofoam around my buckets to shade the roots. And I don't know if I'd make my money back from the power bill, but I would even be tempted to pop a window ac in the side of the box. Roots hate to be hot, which is what makes container growing so challenging in hot weather.
