I am thinking of buying a food mill to assist with making sauce, paste, etc.
On matters of tools I have never used before I usually defer to Cook's Illustrated/America's Test Kitchen, as I am a website subscriber. But their top recommended model, CuisPro, is over $100, and the only other recommended one is a plastic one by R.S.V.P. for $20. They only tested four.
I searched Amazon, and saw one made by Oxo (who generally make nice stuff)

Oddly, though many people seem to like their legacy Foley food mills, Cooks didn't have high marks for their current model, a single-disk one that they report "bounces around" and was "difficult to clean."
Any recommendations?
Thanks,
Ann
