My five tray Excalibur is sitting on the dining room table, so I just pulled out a tape measure to check, and the usable part of the trays is 14"x14". They have a small lip around the outside edge that keeps the plastic tray liners in place. Since my garden (and my house) are on the small side, I couldn't justify buying or storing the nine tray model.
