The general gist of the OSU blue/P20 was that someone (an assistant I believe) shared seed with people when she wasn't supposed. The story I've read is more one of airheadness than theft or maliciousness.

No the anthocyanin gene is from some wild species that was crossed to a domestic tomato. I'm sure there are people here that know the story better than I do.
