What he is using is called concrete remesh and it isn't galvanized.
It was made with a light oil on it so it wouldn't rust as quick.
I had to look closer to see this.
What you would want is what they call 4X4 welded wire mesh galvanized.
Also you can look at field fencing.
The stuff you would use for small animals is called hardware cloth.
