Except for a bee cross, all saved seed from any fruit on a plant are genetically the same as any other fruit on the plant. If you had a cross, it wouldnt show up on the same plant, it would show up in it's offspring, fron the seeds. So the striped ones you see are just variations showing for any of a bunch of different reasons. ( Now I'm sure one of the experts will come by to correct me!)
So, yes, you could definitely save seeds from that one.
