Ive really enjoyed reading this thread, im from the UK and its nice to see others growing in Northern/less than perfect places.
If you ever have any spare seeds from the potato leaf black krim x bloody butcher id love to try them, be happy to cover all costs etc
One variety I would recommend is an english heirloom called outdoor girl, its a cold tolerant potato leaf variety and this year ive found it to be a 2-3 weeks earlier than bloody butcher.
