I liked Orlov's Yellow, too. It also turns orange when ripe. It does not yield as much as Yoder's, but the fruit are more dense and meaty. The seed cavities are smaller. Holding a tomato in your hand, it feels heavier than it should. I also enjoyed reading the history behind the variety. The Orlov sounds like a great tomato. Link was a good read, but I think they made an error on Catherine's age, listed as 22 years old in 1783 at the time of her death.
