Feldon,
One winter in Angleton I grew pepper and tomato plants through the winter.
The next year an ice storm, but of course I think Angleton is about 50/60 miles south of you if you live in north Houston.
That makes a big difference in weather over there.
You never know what you will have from one year to the next; it all depends on the jet stream.
They didn’t even know we had a jet stream until we started bombing Japan in high altitude bombers in the 40’s.
Now if we could just control the jet stream.
