I have been very lucky. There are squirrels all over my neighborhood and backyard, but they seem to be very uninterested in my tomatoes. Of course, the eat all of the bird food in my and my neighbor's feeders, and that may be partly why....

I have also shot a few with a pellet gun when they were getting into my grapes.
