Yes, and then I asked folks to read the comments that were made about DG saying it was OP, which gave a different perspective from some of those who grew it..

I think it's also good to know that when a hybrid is bred,and I'm talking about the earliest ones, that if the two parents are very similar then it's usually possible to get an OP out of it, as I did when I dehybridized Ramapo F1 to an OP and at the F3 it was already stable as Ed was noted as saying in this link

And yes,the two parents of the F1 are known.
