Yeah, that's it! I document what the system looks like, how each feature works, and all the processes a user can perform in the software. Kind of like writing a manual, but there are different levels of detail we go into for each type of document. We also write release notes that go out each time an update or patch is made to the software, to describe what's been changed. Sorry for not going into more detail originally, I just always assume people aren't interested in what I do since it sounds so boring! People's eyes tend to glaze over if I talk about it in person, so I've learned to stay vague and broad in most cases.
