I hope you know how lucky that is!
I had shape segregations from a pear cross this year, and one of them was pear shaped. A huge number of these pears simply burst as soon as they started to ripen. I even picked a bunch green and there were still at least 30% that split off the vine when color started to develop.
My impression from looking at all the shapes in that cross is that the "pear-ness" dimensions are a crapshoot, and in my case the pear shape was really unworkable. Couldn't keep a ripe one in its skin. I was glad I wasn't looking for pear!
