I'm shocked to find a moderate infestation of Spider mites in early May in N. Texas this year. This is shocking because we have had unusually cool weather, no hot weather and lots of rain. I've been using Daconil before and after especially heavy rains and managed to stay ahead of fungal disease some how so far. Then I start to see some leaves with spots of yellow and turn them over to see my arch nemesis red spider mites. I guess I'll have to fire up neem oil while it's cool, then switch to D.E., soapy water, Take down, etc. for the rest of the year. I can't use water when it is already so wet, humid and cool. I'd be a tomato genius if it weren't for Spider mites and black mold on black tomatoes, but, those two are more than enough to keep me humbled, year after year.
