News of this type is unreal this year. The area where PaulF was under tornado warnings last night. The local news reporters from Omaha drove down to assess the situation on today's 5am news, but by daybreak it was determined that there was little physical damage to populated areas. Flooding has been a major concern since the last episode of heavy rain combined with snow melt.
The main connection, Interstate 29, between Omaha and cities to the north with Kansas City was flooded out and reopened recently after a 2 month partial repair. It may be in jeopardy again.
Too wet to garden today. More rain tomorrow. First tomato will be late this year.
