No they were "Mexican Sour Gherkin"
http://www.rareseeds.com/mexican-sour-gherkin-cucumber/ .. got'em from my local nursery.. They were TERRIBLE lol.. I ate a few and they were bitter and unappetizing; coming from a guy that likes an occasional slice of raw lemon! They did yield nicely for the compost pile at least lol..
