There is a typo in the variety name:
'Schmatzefien' - it should be 'Schmatzefein' - at least this is how it is spelled in the SSE Yearbooks and by Reinhard Kraft.
What does the word mean? I am not sure, as I do not know German... but google translator comes with something similar to 'fine dinner' or 'savory dinner'...
