There are hundreds of differently preserved castles and chateaux in Bohemia and Moravia. By 1989 all these monuments were in the hands of the state the Czechoslovak Socialist Republic.
Today most of the monuments are owned by the original owners, descendants of Czech, German, French (etc.) families, some in the possessions of the municipality, towns and various associations and more than one hundred remain in the custody of the Czech Republic.
The castles and chateauxs about its I write here have one common feature.
The owners live in them, organize cultural events, weddings, have offices, etc. Mostly they are not museums, but in the season (from April to October) the guides perform the most beautiful parts of the castle.
Such a tour takes about an hour, passing through the uninteresting parts of the castle or castle (rooms with old furniture, porcelain, armory, castle chapel, old kitchen, picture gallery, famine, etc.). Tours are each hour and sometimes more frequent, while the number of visitors is limited (most often 35 people). Do not take a photo while browsing.
