Unfortunately, within the last five years my garden has also been invaded by rootknot nematodes. They must have come in on some soil I had delivered for new raised beds I was adding. I've been beating back the population with a combination of marigolds, cover crops of buckwheat and Sunn hemp, and lots of tilling during the hottest summer months to expose/kill them.
