Forgot to mention I slipped on the ice this morning. Wham flat on my back, my hat flew about 3 feet. Not hurt... but humiliated...yes. There was a witness but luckily, no you tube video.

Canadians and Texans have some things in common. Ice is one of those things - one wrong step and hello frozen ground. As I age, I'm finding the ground to be farther down than it used to be.

We do tend to have more ice/freezing rain than snow here, and some years neither happens. If I were to pick between ice or snow - I would pick snow any day.
