Hi Worth,

I have grown these successfully in 5 gallon barrels with a trellis. They do develop long vines, so you will need to support them. Also, pick them young, at about a foot long, this is when they taste best and are less stringy. Other than that, I had no trouble with them. they produced well during the heat of summer, right up until frost. Happy Gardening!
