tg, yep, just like a nice peppery radish! The larger they get, the more thicker the skin gets which isn't a problem at all, and they also get a little 'airy' inside or less solid if that makes sense. I love 'em because they are easier to cut up for salads ect. They just take longer than the standard radish but you get 5x's as much!

livin, funny, I noticed it as I uploaded the pic! My little farmer is getting bigger!
