Karen,here's a suggestion for you.

I just remembered that Gunnar, from Poland, is back with us, and if you look at this thread about language translations,you'll see that he posted there in September.

And I'm wondering what he might know more about this variety along with what Dorota already said. Maybe there's even a Polish Seed Bank still active, maybe Dorota knows or Gunnar does..Check out,I think, about post 51 or so,short term memory loss, it happens.

Gunnar is one who loves histories of all kinds and I was so happy to see him back posting at Tville.
