Here are some pictures of one of the batches of Bacon I made last winter. Pork Butt cut no thicker than 2 inches will make a somewhat decent, cheap bacon, but to me it taste more like a cross between bacon and ham. In my opinion, pork belly makes the absolute best bacon but it is quite pricey.
