No bees left on mine anymore but the hummingbirds are still visiting the cuphea here. I have the plants under cover so they don't get water logged. Eventually they will succumb to the cold and I will trim them before I bring them into the garage for the winter.
How tall do your cuphea get to be growing in the ground? I always have mine in pots that I can raise off the ground because of predators.
