I made a new recipe that called for sweet Italian sausage and I bought regular Italian sausage.

it was good, but I want to know what is in sweet Italian sausage that is different from regular Italian sausage. I added anise and Thai basil and would have added some sweet bell peppers chopped up finely if I'd had them on hand.
