Some years we have had August in May (MAgust) and then the rest of the
season is typical cool...

Right now we are having a cool goose-bumpy " Junetober " spell.
We had the opposite, no winter last year, temps fell below freezing only twice. I am going to try to grow tomatoes this winter.
