The Candy onions are hybrid. We bought sets for years from the same place. They are really cheap here (Around $2 a bunch)

I planted out Texas 1015Y this year because they're OP and they just as good. It has been fun growing onions from seed the past two years.

They aren't telling if they are OP or hybrid.
