I love a good bulletproof tomato - I have a few I've found do really well for me in my shorter season. Although I'm only growing one this year on that list, which is Silvery Fir Tree. Other tomato varieties I'm growing are Black Plum, Black Sea Man, El Nano, Guido, Hahm's Gelbe Topftomate, Orange Tree, Peasant, Platillo, Rumba Ozarowska, and Siniy.

Orange Tree, Peasant, Rumba Ozarowska and Siniy are all new to me.

For peppers I'm doing Jimmy Nardello's, Golden Greek (for home made pepperoncinis!), Aji Chinchi Amarillo, and Hinkelhatz. I might fit a Czech Black if I can finagle it - all my peppers are in pots so finagling is definitely doable.

And then a few bean varieties, Simonet corn (which was bred in my hometown here, first time growing it so I have high hopes!), potatoes, onions, broccoli, beets, 'Slocan' snow peas, turnips, carrots, zucchini.

One day I'll find a melon that I can make work in my season. Some day.... *sigh*.

None of my garlic made it last year, so I have some three year old bulbils I'm going to hopefully attempt to get going this year. I've never tried growing bulbils that old, and of course the year before I didn't save any.
