So while we're discussing the origin of Merinda, let's have a look at the rest of the balcony: Spadaro, which is alledgedly also Italian.

Tall plant grown in a 20l-pot on two stems (the whole thing is a jungle by now as I stopped pruning eventually)
Huge, and I mean huge, beautiful hearts, but not a lot of them
good taste, but no wow-factor except for the looks
