There's quite a large and rusty scythe at my Mom's place - I don't think they ever used it, it was there when they moved in. The place has a big meadow and it's a huge chore just to mow the small bit of it my Mom likes to see cut...
I may have to try and clean it up and sharpen it... I think it's a bit heavier than the ones in the video, so I hope not too big for me to use. It would be a lark to mow a few nice paths for her down through the field that's gone wild.
