My mom had the all American and found the old Kook Kwick in town at the monthly town square rummage sale/blue grass singing.
Back then she may have only paid $5.00 for it.
It had the big metal band that went around it and locked down.
She had a little cooker she used for years, the safety plug blew out and ruined the ceiling.
Covered in bean glop.
I have no idea how it could have happened.
Maybe the steam hole to the weight got stopped up.
I just tested my gauge with 3 other very good gauges and they all read dead on the same.
The gauge functions properly from 0 to past its 20 pound limit with no sticking.
Since we all know how good these old gauges were built I am not going to replace it until I can order what on line, it works just fine.
