I just read the label and it has the older name for what we now know as Zluta Kytice thanks to Clara who did some researching.

And yes,it is a cherry and yes it was grown for me in the back yard this past summer, and yes, the local man who grows my seedlings brought too many plants.I found homes for them and everyone loved it.
