Yes, but I do plan to see what they taste like fresh, just out of curiousity. When we dry other peppers (we have a dehydrator) we store them whole and then crush them in a mortar and pestle as needed. Do you usually crush the dried peppers and store them that way? I don't have much of a tolerance for heat, so it's good that they're not too hot.
