Averaged softball sized for me up here in the mid-atlantic.
Heavy dose of preplant organic nitrogen (chicken manure based) along with potassium sulfate.
Water 2-3 times everyweek.
Bi-weekly feedings with calcium nitrate (did this 6 times).
Anything short of the above, in my climate/soil yields tennis balls and smaller...
