I love those volunteers. I have 3 or 4 small ones growing inside my garden bed and 3 just outside the bed where I can at least attach them to the fence as they grow. I got 2 or possibly 3 volunteer potatoes growing that I apparently overlooked last year at harvest. Those potatoes are crowding and shading out the cherry tomatoes I planted in those spots this year. Thus I shall allow at least 2 of the volunteers to grow just so I have some cherries. My bed started out all organized and now I have cages placed all over the place to accommodate all the volunteers
