The male parrot was even closer to the kids at one stage, coming in to land about a foot from the plate while the kids were still putting the seed in. We had them pull back a bit as they do get excited, safer for all.

We harvest the gingers when they die down, except for the leaf cardamom which can be picked at any time of the year.

Will look back through my photos and find a few more of our animals and Parrots for you folks
Should be able to track down the one of our young fellow pulling a devils tail, taken I'm Tasmania 7 or 8 years ago. Heading back to Tasmania in a couple of months and will head back to that same Park as young girl wants to pull the tail of one too!

Nan we have 4 Parrots locally, but the others are not as quite as the Kings. Shall endeavour to get photos
