The ones I got from Baker Creek were named "Large Purple". I get some that are nearly 4" around but most average 3". Bigger than any others I have grown and much sweeter than regular ripe tomatillos. I make "Salsa Violetta" with mine. A hot/sweet chunky sauce (recipe posted on this forum.)
