Volvo, how often and how much do/did you water the fig?
Even in the height of summer I only give the fig a deep watering (10 litres) once a week.
Glad to hear you've already enjoyed the first fruit!
Even though it's getting closer to winter here, the fig tree is still loaded with fruit which is only slowly ripening now. There's just not enough heat and warmth any more. Good thing I've planted an earlier fig, and there are more to be planted this winter.
