This is not a dwarf. It Is a compact plant and will keep setting truss after truss of fruits until frost kills the plant. I rated the taste at 8.5 and it does have a "Cherokee Purple" kind of full flavor with a nice touch of sweetness. It holds well on the counter and is at the best flavor when fully ripe. So, you don't have to be too quick about taking them off the vine.
