First year is usually a "round" and when replanted next year produce divided bulbs. The size will increase every year until they reach full size.

Yeah, I have heard that bulbils become single clove, small garlic first year. .. so i will save some of them for the next planting season. Probably I have over 120 of them.
This year our winter did not get as cold as last. The lowest was around 25F.so hopefull my garlic cloves won,t separate too early,.
