Default Rebel Yell

So here's to the last variety of this year's bounty - Rebel Yell.

I broke off one of the two main stems accidentally in May and cursed myself because it was loaded with flowers. Now while this may be a reason for not getting fifty tomatos, it is no reason for ripening the first of about 3 fruits at the end of August...

But the taste! I like this so much that I may try it again next year...

Normal high plant grown in 10l pot
Late and low production for me
Good size and taste
Seed source: Charline in France
May try again in bigger pot

That's it for this year, I'm afraid. There's less and less sun on my balcony every day and I can just hope to get the rest of the greenies ripe - plants are about to give up. It's been fun and plans for next year are under way...

Best, Baba
