doesn't blemish free depend to a certain extent on the temperature. cold weather during blosson formation makes for many imperfections on the first few flushes of tomatoes for me. I even picked a zippered tomato out of my high tunnel and I know there wasn't that much cold in there but I few nights they needed covered after planting them out.
