I agree, we do try different things very optimistically. Later this fall, I'll be planting cereal rye all throughout the garden. Never in a hundred years would I have thought about planting cereal rye anywhere - much less in the gardens.

I've been researching growing carrots in large pots today. Did you know they can take temperatures down to 20F?
