Thanks Greg, that's exactly the kind of info I was looking for. Just wanted to know what's expected/standard, so I'm not off in left field!

As mentioned, my only heirlooms are Cherokee Purple, the other 5 I planted were hybrids. So I may not have much to contribute!

Round one has wound down (55 tomatoes collected from three plants to date), but with the lower temps I have *tons* of tomatoes setting now (75+ on five plants at the moment). Not sure if any will be ripe by the event though.

Is it OK for newbies to just come and gawk (LOL)?
