They have even The Pomegranate festival in the small local town Goycay in November.

Andrey! My tree is about 8 ft. tall now. It has been in the ground about 6 years, having grown in a container prior to that for 2 years. It suffers a little if we have an especially cold winter or late freeze, but rebounds quickly in the spring.
I hope my pomegranates get as huge as those in the picture.
